What’s your favourite Father’s Day present you’ve received?

L: My favourite Father's Day present I have received so far was a t-shirt that says #SwagDad #IAmAwesome #TheBest.

What’s your favourite part of being a dad?

L: My favourite part of being a dad is being able to provide Jake with opportunities I couldn’t get growing up. Taking him on holidays, going on coffee/hot chocolate dates, watching movies in bed together in the lounge, hiking/adventures, teaching him Tongan, and training with him.

What’s your least favourite part of being a dad?

L: My least favourite part of being a dad is listening to him complaining about unnecessary things haha.

What’s your best advice for new dads?

L: My best advice for new dads would be to do the best you can with what you have and be patient. There is no manual for being a good dad. For all the many things I have done and provided for Jake that I think is good, there’s only one thing he really appreciates the most and that is me being present nothing else.
